What Now?!

This whole summer we have been wondering what to do and where to go in the job department. Back in June we gave up our one-way ticket back to southern-utah (the thud you just heard was us kicking ourselves), and S. signed a contract with a college in Mass. to be a studio manager (for free) and then get to teach one college course (for a very minimal amount - just to chalk it all up to add "experience" to the old resume. All other prospective job offers from the interviews have dissipated into thin air.

Just this morning S. turned down the slave labor job in Mass. Everything has just felt wrong about going there, besisdes the cost of relocation, the increased cost of living, and the fact that finding an apartment that has a washer/dryer that can be operated with out having to add money (coin-op) and allows a small dog is nigh to impossible, unless we want to pay $1,000 in rent. And I will mention that the people on the east coast are mean and onery! Sigh of relief that I don't have to move there!

We chose a perfect time in the economy to finish grad-school and hit the job market. 'Now what', you ask? I don't know! Sure hope this leap of faith will land us on solid ground....somewhere....
