Happy Holidays!

(This Christmas instead of mailing out a ton of Christmas Photo Cards, I'm just going to post our Christmas picture on our blog - that way you don't have to feel guilty throwing the picture away...and I don't have to pay for postage.)

Dear Friends and Family;

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2010. We hope this exciting time of year brings you many happy memories in the days to come.

If you have kept up on my blog, you'll know that this last year has been a pivotal one. Seth received his MFA degree - a three year process and we survived it all the while learning to love Lincoln, NE.

We have moved twice already this year. We spent the summer in Helena, MT where Seth was granted a summer residency at The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts, and then in August we moved to "KalamaZION" (Kalamazoo) Michigan so Seth can get additional teaching experience as a visiting faculty member. We are hoping that 2010 brings permanent employment at a University with all the luxury of insurance and benefits.

We are enjoying Michigan and the many friends we have made and who have welcomed us into their homes. We got to Spend Christmas eve with Julianne's visiting teaching companion/Relief Society president and her family. Christmas Day we spent with another family in our ward.

Wishing you and your family a Joyous Season.

Seth, Julianne and Mazie

  2. Hey Julianne: Saw Seth's mom at the store. She gave me the update and told me that you're in Michigan now. Your pictures looks great. Looks like you're happy there. We are doing good here. There's quite few changes here. Sure miss seeing you. Hope to see you when you come down to visit. Pamela Salmond

  5. Julianne, hey girl! You look smashingly wonderful beautiful in that Christmas photo! I love it. I'm so glad to hear how great you two are doing. Lincoln, my son not the city!, loves your little puppy. He kept saying , "Julianne's puppy?" Yep it's Julianne's not ours, thank-goodness. I have enough cleaning up to do after my kids. :) We saw your mom and dad recently for J.J.'s wedding. They look good! We miss seeing you. It's nice to be able to keep updated on your blog. Take Care...a friend always, Chelsea.
