My paternal grandpa, Ralph Green passed away on Wednesday the 21st. I flew home on Saturday to Southern Utah for the funeral in Summit, Utah. Thanks Dad and Lynda for the buddy pass to get me home for the funeral. I was really close to my grandpa as I spent a good part of my childhood living close to grandpa and grandma Green. Some of my memories of my grandpa are going hunting with him and my uncles at deer season, camping at Mammoth, fishing, and eating grandma's tacos together. Grandpa served in the US Navy for 21 years and a veteran of the Vietnam war, so he was rightfully given a military funeral. The snowy weather certainly reflected our solumn feelings that day. Summit received over a foot of snow making the grave-side service a little slippery and cold. I'm so thankful for eternal families.
These are really neat pictures, Seth, especially the one of everyone walking in the snow at the cemetery. I also like the last one. Who is the man holding the flag?
