Love Jane Austen?

I love love LOVE the movie Pride and Prejudice! Imagine my delight to have found another movie that's a close rival - it's a BBC miniseries movie titled Wives and Daughters, based on the book by Elizabeth Gaskell. I watched it over the weekend. It's a very delightful 1800's victorian english period piece movie. It's about 4 hours long, but oh so good and perfect for a rainy day! Molly Gibson is about as outspoken and opionated as Elizabeth Bennett, but still just as heart warming.

Another great miniseries movie is North and South, also based on another of Elizabeth Gaskell's books.

I watched both movies from the Netflix on-line playlists. Once you start watching, you don't want to stop!
