Could've been married in the 60's!

Seems it's a blogging tradition to post pix of the wedding day when the wedding anniversary rolls around. Well this is one tradition I have yet to do since I began blogging. I think I must indulge! I do love our wedding portraits!

The saddest thing of all about our wedding is that the date/era just fell short of the digital cameras and videos. I scanned the pictures that I have, but the quality is about as good as if the pictures had been taken in the 1960's! Even sadder, Seth's aunt had her camcorder at our reception and got tons of footage, but when we watched the copy she gave us, we can't hear a single thing. Once again, it's about as good as those silent reel films that were popular in the 60's and 70's!

Here's to a Bon Aniversare mon Cherrie!

Since 2002, the St. G. Temple has replaced the old metal door where the newly-wed couple exits with a nice new lovely glass one!

i know what you mean about the footage as far as pictures and video goes lol....my wedding video has my brother in law talking in the background the entire reception so we just tend to mute the video. lol..and yeah if i want to put pics up i have to scan them and i don't have enough patience for that....maybe when our tenth anniversary comes around i'll do that lol. well have a great anniversary and many more that come after =)

  2. We are glad you made it home in time to celebrate your anniversary at home together. Happy Anniversary. All the memories come back as I think about your wedding and reception. Standing in the church kitchen helping your mom get food ready and then mopping the kitchen at the end of the night. Good times!

  4. Happy Anniversary! I still remember that double date we went on at the Pizza Factory! I can't believe that was over seven years ago. I read a great book that reminded me of Seth. It's called, "A Single Shard" by Linda Sue Park. I highly recommend it!
