Blessing Day

SeAnna's blessing day was almost as lovely as my wedding day, and we were all just as happy! She was blessed on Sunday, October 9th at barely 2 weeks old! We had to bless her while the Grandparents were in town, as they all were leaving for Utah the next day.

I have dreamed of what it would be like to behold my husband giving our precious baby a name and a blessing, and my dream came true! SeAnna's blessing was beautiful. We gave her the middle name of Hope because we want her to always remember that she is our symbol of Hope, faith, answered prayers, miracles, and the love of a Heavenly Father.

SeAnna was so very little and fragile in her long white dress, but so beautiful and perfect, fresh from heaven. I still can not believe that she is here, and that she mine. It's amazing how my love for her brings my emotions to surface in an instant.

 Luckily, that Sunday I found a skirt that fit me!

Of course, she would have to have her first blow-out on her blessing day! Luckily it happened at the end of our family photo's. I was able to get it cleaned out of her dress with out it staining.

Our special day was over before we knew it, and now it's been almost 3 months since her blessing day!
